We love seeing kids make a decision to follow Jesus!
Baptism declares to the world you’ve trusted Jesus, joined God’s family, and made a commitment to follow Jesus, heart, and soul. It’s pretty special! If your child (3rd thru 5th grade* or 6th-8th grade) is interested in being baptized during a Next Gen Sunday, please complete the form below.
*All 3rd thru 5th graders, must take a baptism class prior to being baptized. During this 3-week baptism class, we talk together about what baptism means and how Jesus made it possible for us to follow Him. Other topics include: salvation, communion, and discipleship. This is a milestone in your child’s life so we ask that at least one parent attend the class. You will be contacted about registering for the class.
A child dedication is expressing your commitment to raise your child in a Christ-led home and church where he or she can come to know, love, and serve Jesus.
IT IS YOU, PARENTS, WHO ARE DOING THE DEDICATING...
It is a commitment you make in your heart before Jesus and agree together to live out in your home. The ceremony performed during a service is simply a public acknowledgement of your commitment; That you...
Acknowledge your child is a gift given to you by God
Commit to live your lives as parents, by the grace of God, in such a way as to be a positive example as followers of Jesus.
Desire the people of Living Water to provide a loving, biblical community that supports and prays for your family
What does a dedication involve? On the day of the dedication, the pastor will introduce you and your child. You will be invited to share with the congregation what it means for you to dedicate your child to the Lord. The dedication will conclude with a time of prayer and blessing.
